Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen

Strongly tonifies source Qi, augments Qi of the Lung, Spleen and Heart, calms the Shen, generates Body Fluids and relieves fatigue.

With Bai Zhu, tonifies the transformation and transportation functions of the Spleen. With Bai Zhu, Gan Cao and Fu Ling, for Spleen and Stomach Qi Deficiency with Dampness with anorexia, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal distention and fatigue. With Shu Di Huang, for severe Qi and Blood Deficiency due to loss of Blood and Qi and Yin Deficiency. With Huang Qi, for Lung Qi Deficiency and Qi Deficiency with general debility, anorexia, and spontaneous sweat. With Shu Di Huang, Bai Zhu, Bai Shao and Fu Ling, for Qi and Blood Deficiency.

Rx, Codonopsis Dang Shen

Tonifies the Middle Jiao, augments Qi, tonifies the Lungs, restores the constitution and assists herbs that release the exterior or drain downward when there is significant Qi Deficiency, nourishes Blood and promotes the generation of Body fluids - Usually substituted for Ren Shen.

With Fu Ling, for Spleen and Stomach Deficiency with fatigue, a sensation of fullness in the abdomen, dizziness, lethargy, shortness of breath, anorexia and loose stools or diarrhea. With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency with anorexia, loose stools and vomiting. With Dang Gui and Shu Di Huang, for Qi and Blood Deficiency with dizziness, weakness and lassitude. With Huang Qi, for Lung and Spleen Qi Deficiency with fatigue, shortness of breath, diarrhea and anorexia. With Bai Zhu, Gan Cao, Bai Shao and Dang Gui, for Qi and Blood Deficiency.

Rx. Astragali Huang Qi

Strengthens the Spleen, tonifies Qi and Blood , generates Body Fluids, raises the Yang Qi of the Spleen and Stomach, tonifies the Lungs, and generates flesh.

With Ren Shen or Dang Shen , for Qi Deficiency with general debility, anorexia, and spontaneous sweat. With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency with weakness, lassitude and loose stools. With Dang Gui, for Blood Deficiency due to hemorrhage with fatigue, low grade fever, irritability and thirst in patients with a weak pulse due to Qi and Blood Deficiency and Qi and Blood Stagnation with chronic non-healing sores, numbness, painful obstruction and paresthesia. Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui

Tonifies Blood, regulates the menses, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, disperses Cold, moistens the Intestines, unblocks the bowels, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.

With Huang Qi, for pallor, debility, fatigue and/or low grade fever due to excessive Blood loss and ulcerated abscesses with insufficient drainage or which drain a clear thin discharge. With Shu Di Huang, for Heat symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and Devastated Blood. With Shu Di Huang, and Rou Gui to expel pus and generate flesh in chronic non- healing sores. With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood for Blood Deficiency Heat. With Huang Qi, Shu Di Huang, Rou Gui, and Ren Shen, expels pus and generates flesh in chronic non-healing sores.

Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang

Nourishes the Blood and nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin.

With Dang Gui and Bai Shao, for dizziness, palpitations, insomnia and menstrual dysfunction due to Blood Deficiency. With Ren Shen, for Qi, Blood and Yin Deficiency. With Ren Shen, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling, Dang Gui and Bai Shao, for anemia with fatigue and weakness.

Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao

Calms Liver Yang, alleviates pain, Nourishes the Blood, regulates menstruation and astringes Yin.

With Dang Gui, nourishes the Blood and softens the edginess that results from Liver Stagnation. With Dang Gui and Shu Di Huang, for dizziness, blurred vision, and dysmenorrhea due to Blood Deficiency or Stasis. With Gan Cao, for abdominal pain due to disharmony between the Liver and Stomach and epigastric, hypochondriac or flank pain. With Ren Shen and Huang Qi, restrains sweating from Deficiency. With Ren Shen, Huang Qi and Bai Zhu, for menstrual disorders with Qi Deficiency signs such as fatigue, weakness, and pale and scanty menstrual Blood.

Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi

Regulates Qi, tonifies the Spleen (improves its transportive functions), adjusts the Middle, dries Dampness, descends Rebellious Qi and helps prevent Stagnation from tonic herbs.

With Bai Zhu, for anorexia and other symptoms of Damp Obstruction due to Spleen Deficiency and prevents bloating. With Sheng Jiang, for vomiting and hiccups due to Disharmony of the Stomach Qi. With Bai Zhu, for anorexia and other symptoms of Damp-Obstruction due to Spleen Deficiency.

Rx. Polygalae Yuan Zhi

Calms the Spirit and sedates the Heart and clears the channel joining the Heart and Kidney, reduces abscesses and dissipates swellings.

Fr. Schisandrae Wu Wei Zi

Replenishes Qi, astringes leakage of Lung Qi, nourishes Kidney Yin, astringes essence, stops diarrhea, astringes sweat, generates fluids, tonifies the Heart and calms the Shen.
