Instructions
Take 1-2 grams of powder or capsules 2 times a day, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. For powder, dissolve the powder in warm water before taking.
Precautions
- Contraindicated in cases of excess conditions.
- Incompatible with Li Lu (veratrum root and rhizome), antagonized by Zao Jiao (Chinese honeylocust fruit), and counteracted by Wu Ling Zhi (trogopterus dung) and Lai Fu Zi (radish seed).
- Avoid consuming concurrently with turnips, daikon radishes, and tea.
- Contraindicated in cases of yin deficiency with heat signs, heat excess, or in the absence of significant qi deficiency.
- Contraindicated in cases of hypertension with ascendant Liver yang, and in cases of very high blood pressure (systolic over 180mmHg).
