Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-10g

Tonifies Blood, regulates menses, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood and reduces swelling.

With Bai Shao, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood and relieves genital pain. With Gan Cao, moderates spasms and relieves abdominal pain. With Chai Hu and Bai Shao, for dysmenorrhea from Liver Qi Stagnation and Blood Deficiency. With Bai Shao and Fu Ling, for diarrhea during pregnancy with mild abdominal pain. With Mu Dan Pi, Zhi Zi, Chai Hu and Bai Shao, for early menstruation, bloating during menstruation, and irritability due to Qi Stagnation with Heat.

Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 3-20g

Calms Liver Yang, nourishes Blood, regulates menstruation and astringes Yin.

With Dang Gui, nourishes Yin and Blood. With Gan Cao, regulates the relationship between the Liver and Spleen and nourishes the sinews for epigastric, hypochondriac or flank pain and muscle spasms, pain and numbness, especially in the calf, due to Blood Deficiency.

Promotes urination, resolves Dampness, strengthens the Spleen and harmonizes the Middle Jiao.

With Bai Zhu, strengthens the Spleen and resolves Dampness.

Tonifies the Spleen, tonifies Qi and dries Dampness.
