Instructions
Take 1-2 grams of powder or capsules 2 times a day, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. For powder, dissolve the powder in warm water before taking.
Precautions
- Use with caution in those with vomiting and diarrhea from spleen stomach deficient cold
- Contraindicated in cases of yin deficiency, nausea or vomiting due to Stomach cold from deficiency, and diarrhea due to Spleen or Kidney deficiency
- Use with caution in those who have any deficiency of the Spleen and Stomach
- May cause side effects such as allergic reaction, allergic rash, dizziness, headache, tinnitus, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, shortness of breath, abdominal fullness, diarrhea, and reduction of red blood cells
- Long-term use is discouraged as it can injure the Spleen and Stomach
- Antagonizes Ju Hua (chrysanthemum flower), Xuan Shen (figwort root), Bai Xian Pi (dictamnus root bark), Jiang Can (silkworm), and counteracts Kuan Dong Hua (tussilago) and Niu Xi (achyranthes root)
