Bio Essence tincture extracts are the highest quality herbal preparations available. The herbs used are ethically and ecologically wild-harvested, organically grown by independent farmers, or selectively imported under strict standards; the herbs are never fumigated or irradiated. Our contract manufacturer is a FDA Registered and approved herbal and homeopathic drug manufacturing company.

Our glycerites tinctures (alcohol free) are first extracted in alcohol, then the alcohol is carefully removed in a manner that will not damage heat-sensitive polysaccharides, then replaced with vegetable glycerine and a small amount of Xylitol. Xylitol is a natural sweetener with low glycemic index and does not promote teeth cavity. Tests show our glycerites to be 99.998% alcohol free.

Dosage instructions are given on each individual bottle. In general, adult dosages range from 20-60 drops (one rubber top squeeze is about 30-34 drops), 2 to 4 times a day. The recommended dosage is based on a 120-150 pound adult. If you are giving the extract to a child, adjust the dosage according to the child’s weight (divide the child’s weight by 120-150 to get the percentage of the adult dose that should be administered to the child). Each one-ounce bottle contains approximately 1150 drops and will last about 12 days (based on a dose of 30 drops three times a day).
